The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is funded by the\u00a0United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)<\/a>\u00a0and administered through the\u00a0State Department of Education<\/a>. The\u00a0Access<\/em>\u00a0Community Action Agency is one of the sponsoring organizations of the program in Connecticut. To qualify for CACFP reimbursement a person needs only to be licensed by the\u00a0State Department of Public Health<\/a>\u00a0to provide childcare services in their home.
