End of Extra SNAP Payments Since April 2020, funding from the federal government has allowed Connecticut to issue an extra SNAP payment to households in the middle of each month. New federal law will end these benefits, Connecticut SNAP-eligible households will receive their last extra payment in mid-February 2023.
