Next Steps Supportive Housing assists chronically homeless, single adults diagnosed with serious mental health and/or chronic substance abuse issues. There are eleven (11) certificates available to eligible adults.

The program provides comprehensive case management inclusive of assistance in obtaining social security, entitlements, and referrals for support services. Clients receive limited transportation including access to health care and/or other treatment.

Next Steps works in collaboration with service providers, community partners, area landlords, real estate brokers, and the Killingly Housing Authority to utilize U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) certificates which provide permanent supportive housing.

Next Steps Supportive Housing is funded by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS).
